EASTER FAMILY EVENT

As mentioned in the January newsletter, we are planning some new events this year:

EASTER FAMILY EVENT – 16th April 8.30 am

This is an event for Young Church children, with their parents, to celebrate Easter together before the morning service.

We will begin at 8.30am with breakfast in the Clent room (Cereal, toast, hot cross buns, bacon/sausage sandwiches, tea, coffee & hot chocolate).  We will then go into the church garden to watch some drama (wrap up warm!).  There will also be a range of Easter crafts in the Clent room, for all ages and an Easter Egg Hunt, before we join the congregation for all age worship at 10.30.

Please come along and have some fun!

URC BIG DAY OUT at Warwick Castle – 20th May 10.00am - 5.00pm

This is a URC festival for all ages. Tickets include access to the castle and attractions where Big Day Out visitors can have a go at archery, watch birds of prey in flight, take part in worship with hundreds of others, listen to influential and engaging speakers and workshop leaders (including John Proctor, General Secretary, Neil Thorogood, Principal of Westminster College, Paul Northup of the Greenbelt Festival, representatives from the Christian Aid Collective, representatives from Messy Church and Wayne Hawkins of CWM to name but a few), visit the beautiful conservatory tea house, relax in the peacock garden, and enjoy a celebratory picnic.

We are gifting the tickets for Young Church children.

Please return the booking form to Sue Clayton by Sunday 26th March.

Consent forms

We need new consent forms for your children for 2017.  Please come prepared to fill in a form when you next come to Young Church.
